Last fall, I flew out to Texas to work with LBJ Floral & Events to plan a Houston Elopement Shoot. As some of you may have seen before, Megan of LBJ and I have worked on quite a few weddings and events together (see this stunning one from Bray's Island). So when she asked if I would be interested in coming out to the Lone Star State to work on this sweet elopement shoot, I jumped at the opportunity. I always love meeting new vendors and working in new environments,...

Buckle up, y'all, because these are the ultimate bridal portraits. Waking up at 3am to meet our wonderful team to do hair and makeup and then walk to the top of the Ravenel Bridge was no easy feat but...

Styling bridal editorial shoots on the side of wedding planning is one of my favorite hobbies! When Erin, the editor in chief over at A Lowcountry Wedding, asked if I put together the bridal editorial shoot to be featured in her Spring 2018 issue, I jumped at the chance. Gathering some of Charleston’s best wedding vendors and reaching out to our top bridal boutiques to gather the stunning gowns was my first step. Wrangling up some stunning models and making the trek out to Atalaya Castle in Murrells Inlet, was the next plan of action in the creation of this bridal shoot.

If you read my Lessons Learned at Charleston Wedding Week post, you saw I had the opportunity to coordinate a book signing event at Kate McDonald Bridal¬†last month. Beth Chapman of Beth Chapman Styling and the White Dress by the Shore, wrote her second novel, The White Dress: Destinations, which debuted at Charleston Wedding Week. Thanks to a team of amazing vendors, we were able to feature this wonderful wedding vendor and her most recent endeavor. With Emily Ann Hughes behind the lens capturing all of the beauty created by some of Charleston’s best, it was a morning full of mimosas, macaroons and chatter. I had a wonderful time working alongside the lovely ladies of Kate McDonald Bridal to bring this event to life. See all of the fun images below filled with pretty blooms by Branch Design Studio, soft textures from Pressed Fine Linens, and sparkly balloons from Cannonborough Collective.
