I thoroughly enjoyed assisting on this wedding with Cory of Sage Innovations. Seeing this wedding, which Cory had been planning with Casey and Wiley for two years, come together was magical. As you all know, I am ALL about some bright colors so this wedding was right up my alley. I fell in love with the “big as your face” yellow peonies and the hand, calligraphed seating chart and program done by the bride herself. Not only could the couple have been any sweeter, but their family’s were just as easy to work with. And you know it is going to be a beautiful and joyous occasion when the radar says rain all week until the day of the wedding when it is clear as day. Needless to say, this wedding was one for the books and I can’t wait for you all fall in love with it as well!

Happy Planning!

Welcome to The Petal Report’s new do! Can you even believe how pretty it is?! I have been wanting to redo my old website for quite some time now, and the slow wedding season seemed to be the perfect opportunity. It turned out better than I ever could have imagined.

But don’t be fooled! I did not create this bad boy on my own. Really, I was just there to give my input and overall design thoughts. It was the wonderfully talented Kate Wilson of Boss Lady Jobs who made my website vision come to life. She is a beast, y’all, when it comes to coding, web design, and google searches. Widgets, plugins, and Google Analytics made my head spin and I certainly wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. Looking to upgrade your site?! You know who to call.

Today, I wanted to feature one of my favorite weddings that I have had the pleasure of designing and coordinating! The overcast skies for Sarah and Pablo’s October wedding made for some gorgeous pictures and matched perfectly with our modern yet classic wedding style. Although I featured this day nine months ago on the blog with the pictures I took on my little iPhone camera, I wanted you all to have the chance to oogle over Clay Austin‘s stunning wedding shots. You can also check out this dream day up on Style Me Pretty as well!

Wedding planned and designed by The Petal Report at Lowndes Grove in Charleston, South Carolina.

One of the first vendors I was introduced to when I started working for Sage Innovations last fall were the wonderful and extremely talented ladies of Branch Design Studio. Newlywed, Eliza Apple, one of their lead floral designers, has such an outgoing and welcoming personality that I was instantly drawn to her. I am always blown away by the swoon worthy arrangements she creates and her ability to absorb a client’s vision and make it into a reality. It is vendors like her that make my job easier and much more fun! I truly value the friendship I have created with Eliza and the whole Branch team and am thrilled to have her featured on The Petal Report today.

Get ready to see some pretty flowers, y’all! They are best part of a wedding, after all.
