Having a tough time deciding which style you want your ladies to dress in for your wedding (or future, fictional wedding, like me)? Well I have been scouring the depths of Pinterest and my wedding galleries to pick out which styles and designs I loved the best. From bright colors to funky silhouettes to fun and festive patterns, I have come up with a list of dresses for you all to oogle over.

1. I have found the most traditional (or oldest trend) is to have your girls wear the exact same dress. They will all look identical when they slip on these bridesmaid gowns. This style makes it so the bride truly stands out on her own. I used to think this is exactly what I wanted for my (fictional) bridesmaids, but I think I am branching in another direction. Definitely a preppy route to go!

Can you believe that this year is already coming to an end?! I surly cannot. So on today’s addition of #petalworthy I wanted to talk about one of my favorite trends from this past year: Pantone‘s 2016 Color (s) of the Year. (Which I can’t wait to see what colors they pick for next year but until then, let’s obsessive over these pinks and blues, cool?)

As you all have been starting to discover, I’m sure, I am all about color. Yes, I love a classic combination of neutrals, with ivories and champagne playing the leading role in an ensemble or wedding, but vibrant shades are my JAM. (Literally, I LOVE bright colors- as I sit in a multi-colored Lilly Pulitzer dress.) However, I have recently fallen in love with the combination of neutrals, and a pop of color like in some of these pictures below. Pantone definitely knows how to call on some colors because Rose Quartz and Serenity, I am digging your hues.

It’s official, y’all. The weather in typical Charleston style, has not gotten the memo about what month it is. It is still in the mid 80’s and gorgeous…I am not complaining! Luckily though, my wedding schedule has gotten the memo and I have officially finished my final fall wedding as of yesterday (well…until November 26th when I have a “winter” wedding). So as summer seems to carry on here in the Holy City, I thought I would share one last, bright colored, vibrant filled, shoot that I did out at the Santa Monica Pier in August of 2014. While you look through these pictures, I suggest pretending you are on the beach, drinking a cocktail and soaking up some sun. Makes it a bit more authentic.

Cheers to October and happy planning!
