Oh how excited I am to share Jennifer and Peter's wedding day with you all! This sweet couple, who flew in from the Bay Area to say "I do" in Charleston chose this destination for many reasons, but one in specific. For the eclipse, of course. As many of you know or saw on the news, the 2017 eclipse traveled right above Charleston, creating a full eclipse which darkened the streets of downtown. Picking a venue right in the heart of it, the William Aiken House, was high on their...

The Petal Report has officially been in business for three months now and it has been a full on adventure! The amount of support and encouragement I have received from friends, family and fellow wedding vendors has been overwhelming. Thankful would be a complete understatement for the way I have been feeling. For those of you have supported me along the way, I cannot say thank you enough! I am so excited for all of my upcoming TPR couples to be saying “I do” over the next year and a half and am so excited to be expanding this firm even further. I have recently brought on another marketing client and I have been chomping at the bit to tell you all about my newest project. So….

Who else is ready for a vintage love story?! The way I met this sweet couple was one of those “it’s a small world” stories. As most of you all know, I also do the social media and marketing for the sweetest, little paper goods shops on King Street in downtown Charleston, The Silver Starfish. While I was working there one day, two sisters walked in looking to talk with someone about paper goods. Yes, I know what paper goods to send and when, but the actual logistics of what to order and the design process…not my forte. So, instead, we got to chatting about where they were from and when the wedding was going to be. Turns out, they are from a neighboring city to my hometown of Oakwood, Ohio and are good family friends with one of my childhood friend’s family. To go even further, their father and my father went to high school together and their mother also graduated from my alma mater! Can you believe it?! I will tell you what, everyone has a connection to Ohio one way or another.

It just seemed to be the perfect fit for me to coordinate their vintage love story. It was a true honor to be apart of a fellow Ohioans wedding and I have gained some great friends in Ally, Owen, and Jenny (MOH)! Enjoy these stunning, vintage inspired wedding pictures by none other than Hyer Images.
